Dr. Suzanne Abdelazim is a Board-Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist and an Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. As a renowned reproductive surgeon and the author of The Endometriosis Fertility Plan, she is a leading voice in the intersection of immunology, endometriosis, and fertility.
Dr. Abdelazim’s approach to medicine is unique. With a background in Biochemistry and training as an Osteopathic Physician (D.O.), she views the body as an interconnected system. She understands that fertility is not just about hormones, it is about inflammation, immune balance, and the environment in which life begins.
This philosophy drives her work in the operating room, where she specializes in advanced robotic surgery for complex endometriosis, and in her clinic, where she helps women optimize their health for pregnancy.
Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Suzanne is a passionate educator and researcher. Her work has been published in prestigious journals such as JAMA Oncology, and she actively mentors the next generation of surgeons.
Whether she is performing life-changing surgery or writing her next book, her focus remains the same: helping women reclaim their lives and build the families they dream of.
To empower women to take control of their reproductive health through science, compassion, and education. I believe that no woman should have to navigate infertility or pelvic pain in the dark, and that “unexplained infertility” is often just a diagnosis waiting to be uncovered.
My goal is to bridge the gap between advanced surgical medicine and holistic, whole-body healing. By combining cutting-edge reproductive immunology with minimally invasive surgery, I aim to provide the answers women deserve, helping them move from frustration to clarity, and from diagnosis to parenthood.
